Hidden Features of Samsung Galaxy S9
Samsung released their Galaxy S9 and S9 plus on 16th March 2018. The device was initially available in 2 variants, a 64GB version and a 256 GB version. But later they released the 128GB version due to customers request. The 64GB version is priced at Rs57,900 and 256GB is priced at Rs65,900. The 128GB costed Rs61,900. Samsung is providing various data and money back offers in India. They are providing up to Rs6,000 cash back and data offers in a tie-up with various networks. Samsung has already stated the specifications of the phone. But there are more hidden facts on Samsung. Some are positive, and some are negative.
While we are seeing the ads of S9, it looks almost the same as S8, which released last year. But it’s actually 1.2 millimeter shorter, 0.6 millimeter wider and 0.5 millimeter thicker. The S9 plus also have different dimensions than the S8 plus. It is 1.4 millimeter shorter, 0.4 mm wider and 0.4 mm mm thicker. The thing which is clear is that, the cases of Samsung S8 won’t fit the S9 or S9 plus. Also, the camera module has changed from the previous versions.
The S9 supports up to 400GB of external storage addition to the built-in storage of 64GB or more. It is already specified by Samsung in their product description. But the hidden fact is that Samsung doesn’t allows us to store the apps on the SD card like S8. Instead we should store it in the built-in memory. This is because the speed of the MicroSD cards are much slower than internal flash storage.
