1. Yusuf Pathan(2008)
Yusuf Pathan was the star of 2008 Rajasthan vs Chennai final. His 59 from 37 balls helped Rajasthan to win the inaugural title. Batting first, Chennai Super Kings set a target of 164 for Rajasthan. On reply, although Rajasthan's top order collapsed, Yusuf's brilliant innings aided team for their first title with 3 wickets remaining. He had a key role in guiding Rajasthan to finals. The 2008 season performance made him one of the most valuable player in the following seasons.
2. Anil Kumble(2009)
The 2009 Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, Anil Kumble won the player of the match award in the final against Deccan Chargers. Although, the match favored Deccan Chargers, Kumble's final performance was well admired. Batting first Deccan Chargers top order were crumpled by Kumble's bowling. He picked up 4 wickets for 16 runs. They were able to score only 143 runs in the score card. But Bangalore's in form batting order failed to chase the target. Royal Challengers Bangalore lost the match for 6 runs.
3. Suresh Raina(2010)
One of the successful IPL player, Suresh Raina granted with player of the match award in the 2010 final against Mumbai Indians. Raina's unbeaten 57 of 38 balls helped Chennai to secure a safe score of 168. He blasted 3 fours and 3 sixes in the match. On Chasing the target, Mumbai Indians scored 146 runs and lost for 22 runs. Raina was also brilliant in fielding. He was also a contender for the orange cap award in the season.
4. Murali Vijay(2011)
Chennai Super Kings opener, Murali Vijay was impressive in their final against Royal Challengers Bangalore. His brilliant 95 from 52 balls helped the team win their back to back IPL title. With the courtesy of Murali Vijay and Maththew Hayden's half century, Chennai were able to set a mammoth target of 206. Vijay's innings included 4 boundaries and 6 maximum's. On reply, Bangalore finished far behind and lost by 58 runs.
5. Manvinder Bisla(2012)
With the courtesy of Manvinder Bisla's brilliant knock, Kolkata Knight Riders secured their first title in IPL. He scored 89 from 48 balls, thrashed the hopes of Chennai's 3rd IPL title. Batting first, Chennai set a huge target of 190 for Kolkata. Kolkata finished the match with 2 balls remaining. He blasted 8 fours and 5 sixes in the match.
6. Kieron Pollard(2013)
Kieron Pollard won the player of the match award in the 6th IPL season final against Chennai Super Kings. He was impressive with ball and bat. He helped the struggled Mumbai batting order by scoring 60 runs from 32 balls. His contribution helped Mumbai to set up a defendable target of 149. His innings included 7 fours and 2 sixes. Chennai were not able to chase the target as they finished their hopes at 125 runs. Pollard took 1 wicket for Mumbai Indians. He is he first overseas player to win this title in the final.
7. Manish Pandey(2014)
Manish Pandey was the hero of Kolkata Knight Riders vs Kings XI Punjab final of 2014. In Kolkata's 2nd IPL title, Pandey contributed 94 runs from 50 balls. His innings included 7 fours and 6 maximum's. Batting first Punjab made a huge target of 200 for Kolkata. youngster's Vohra and Saha were contributed a half century and a ton. Kolkata chased down the target with 3 balls and 3 wickets to spare.
8. Rohit Sharma(2015)
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma helped the team to win their 2nd title with an amazing performance in the finals against Chennai Super Kings. He blasted 50 runs from 26 balls. His innings included 6 fours and 2 sixes. His innings helped the team to score 202 runs and set a target of 203 for Chennai. Chennai were unable to chase the mammoth target and lost by 41 runs. Rohit's impressive batting and captaincy made him the player of the match.
9. Ben Cutting(2016)
Another overseas player after Kieron Pollard in the list. Ben Cutting's all round performance helped Sun Risers to secure their maiden title. Batting first Sun Risers placed a target of 209 for their opponents Royal Challengers Bangalore. Cutting scored quick 39 from 15 balls with the courtesy of 3 fours and 4 sixes. He had a strike rate above 260. Bangalore on reply, made a good challenge for Sun Risers. But they were not able to chase the target, faced an 8 runs loss. Cutting picked 2 wickets by giving just 35 runs in a run flowing match.
10. Krunal Pandya(2017)
Mumbai youngster Krunal Pandya was the player of the match award winner in the 10 IPL season. In a low scoring final against Rising Pune Supergiants, he scored 47 runs from 38 balls with the courtesy of 3 fours and 2 sixes. On chasing the target of 130, Pune scored 128 runs and lost by 1 run. He was also impressive with ball by conceding 31 runs in his 4 overs.
