1. Evin Lewis

Evin Lewis

Evin Lewis has been one of the dominant batsmen's in T20I format last year. He had a record breaking year with 357 runs from 9 matches. Nick named Junior Gayle, the left hander was impressive in giving good opening knocks for the Windies team. With an unbeaten 125 against India Lewis scored his career best performance last year. His 154.54 strike rate was exceptional. Rather than being a boundary hitter, Lewis's preference was to send the ball over the boundary line. There was 1 hundred and 2 half century performances for him last year. With an 44.62 average, Evin blasted 20 fours and 31 sixes. 

2. Babar Azam

Babar Azam

Young Babar Azam was an impressive T20I performer for Pakistan side in 2017. He had 10 outing last year and scored 352 runs at a 39.11 average. Rather than being a aggressive player, Babar had to give a solid start for the team. His strike rate last year was 119.72. Rather than using his strength, Bobby used to score with his skills. There was 33 fours from his bat last year with only 4 sixes in stat. His 86 against World XI last year is his best performance. 

3. AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers

ABD has been one of the most consistent batsmen for Protease side. Already known for his unorthodox bating style, Mr 360 has scored 304 runs from 7 outings at a 50.66 average. The top order batsmen had a strike rate of 152.00 last year. His best innings last year was an unbeaten 65 from 58 balls against England. de Villiers faced many criticisms for this innings. But return to his aggressive performance made him once again the best T20I player of 2017. ABD blasted 24 fours and 12 sixes last year.

4. Ahmed Shehzad

The Pakistan opener, Ahmed Shehzad scored 304 runs last year in T20Is.From his 9 outings for Pakistan, Shehzad scored 2 half centuries. He was brilliant in hitting the new balls to the boundary line. Rather than blasting biggies, finding the gap was his preference. His 89 runs against World XI was his last years best performance. This guy had a crucial role in winning the 3 match T20I series against World XI for 2-1. Shehzad blasted 29 fours and 5 sixes last year.

5. Mohammad Shehzad

Mohammad Shehzad

Wicket Keeper batsmen, Mohammad Shahzad of Afghanistan was impressive last year for the team in his T20I outings. From 7 matches Shahzad scored 299 runs at an 49.83 average. He was the edge in T20I series win over Zimbabwe and Ireland last year. His 131.71 strike rate was crucial in building huge targets for Afghanistan. Almost 65% of his runs came from boundary hitting 38 fours and 10 sixes last year. He had 3 half centuries last year.

6. Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli

Run machine, Virat Kohli had an excellent outing in T20Is. From his 10 matches, Kohli scored 299 runs. His orthodox cricketing shots had crucial role in India's success last year. An amazing 152.55 strike rate makes him one of the dangerous batsmen's in this format. There was 32 fours and 8 sixes from the right handed top order batsmen. He scored 2 half centuries last year in T20Is, with best being 82 runs against Sri Lanka. His average was 37.37.

7. Marlon Samuels

Marlon Samuels

West Indies middle order batsmen, Marlon Samuels scored 283 runs last year from his 9 matches. His 66 ball 89 performance against Afghanistan was his best score last year. Although known for his aggressive batting style, Samuels had a strike rate of 109.26 last year primarily due to poor performance in the top order. There was 27 fours and 12 sixes in his record last year. With an 40.42 average, Samuels was considered as one of the well trusted middle order batsmen for Windies last year. 

8. Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma, with poor start in the 2017, raised well built in the end. His 35 ball hundred against Sri Lanka last year equals David Miller's record. Sharma scored 118 runs from 43 balls in that match. In throughout the year, from 9 matches "The Hitman" scored 283 runs at an excellent 171.51 strike rate. With almsot 75% of the total runs coming from boundaries, Rohit blasted 30 fours and 16 sixes. His average in the format last year was 31.44. Although the opener failed to give consistent performance for the team, some crucial knocks has been vital for India.

9. KL Rahul

KL Rahul

After his debut in 2016, Rahul got some considerable opportunities last year. He was tested in the middle order initially, but his amazing striking skill in hitting the new ball promoted him to the top order. His 89 runs performance against Sri Lanka was his best T20I innings last year.  He had an average of 39.85 last year. With a 140.90 strike rate, Rahul blasted 24 fours and 12 maximum's. There was 3 half century performances from him in 2017. He is considered as one of the most improving batsmen of team India. 

10. Collin Munro

Collin Munro

New Zealand's T20I specialist, Collin Munro scored 277 runs from his 8 matches. The opener impressed with his excellent striking skills in the power plays. With 20 fours and 17 sixes, Munro had a 163.90 strike rate. His 58 ball 109 against India last year is his  career best performance. Along with a hundred Munro scored 3 half centuries last year. His average in the format was 39.57.
