1. First Person To Score a Double Century in ODIs
Sachin Tendulkar is the first player to score a international double hundred in ODIs. In a match against South Africa at Gwalior in 2010 he scored an unbeaten 200 from 147 balls. He broke previous records of Charles Coventry and Saeed Anwars 194. He smashed 25 fours in that match, which became the highest number of fours in an innings. Later it was broken by Rohit Sharma. Later 200 became a trend in ODIs, 4 other payers reached this throne, currently Rohit Sharma is in the top with 264 runs.
2. Highest Number of Fifties and Centuries
Little Master holds another record of highest number of half centuries and centuries in both format of the cricket. He holds a total 100 centuries in both formats with courtesy of 49 ODI centuries and 51 Test Centuries. He also made 164 half centuries which included 68 from ODIs and 96 from Test cricket. Currently he don't have any active competitors in these records.
3. Most Number of 150+ and Highest Runs in a Calendar Year
Sachin holds the record of first player to hit five 150+ in ODI's. 200* against South Africa was his highest score. He started this achievement by scoring 186* against New Zealand. Sri Lankan opener was Sanath Jayasurya placed second in the list with four 150+. Later David Warner and Rohit Sharma joined with Sachin in the list. Sachin scored 1894 runs in 1998 from 33 innings's. This is the highest runs by a batsmen in a calendar year.
4. Most Number Of Boundaries in ODIs
Sachin secured the record of most number of fours in test and ODI career. He smashed almost 4074+ boundaries in his career. In test cricket he smacked the ball across the boundary line 2058+ times.And in his ODI career he has done it 2016 times. Rahul Dravid is the competitor for him in this record on test and Sanath Jayasurya in the ODI's with 1654, 1500 fours respectively.
5. Most Number of Man of The Match and Series Awards
Sachin awarded with Man of the Match 62 times in his career. Which is the most by a cricket player. Also he holds a unique world cup record in this category. He was presented with Man of the Match award in world cup 9 times. He was also awarded with Man of the Series Award 15 times, including a Man of the Series award in World cup.
6. Most Number of Stadium Appearances
Sachin also have an unique unknown record in his cart. From his debut at Karachi to his retirement at Wankhede, he made 90 stadium appearances in his career. Historical grounds like SCG, MCG , Lord's are included in this list.
7. Most Number of Runs and Matches in International Cricket
In his career span of 22 years and 91 days, he played 463 ODIs and 200 test matches, in which all the mentioned numbers are a record. Out of 463 ODIs and 452 innings's he scored 18426 runs. In his 200 test matches he scored 15921 runs. He is the first and only player to score 33000+ runs in International cricket which is also a record.
8. Nervous Nineties
There is no doubt that Sachin is the greatest batsmen's ever in the cricket history. But there is weird record for him in the cricket, nervous nineties. He was dismissed in the range of 90 and 99 twenty seven times!!. 17 in the ODIs and 10 in the test crickets. He lost his wicket at 99 three times.
9. Fastest Milestones
In ODI's Sachin Tendulkar holds the record of first to reach the 10000 milestone. From 10000 on wards he continued this achievement in all of his next 1000 runs untill 18000. In test cricket also he holds the similar records. He reached 10000 milestone along with Brian Lara and from 12000 to 15000 he was the first and fastest to score each 1000 runs.
10. Partnership Records
Sachin holds some partnership records along with his team mates. Sachin and Dravid placed second in the list of highest partnership record of 331. Sachin - Ganguly combo holds the record of highest runs made by two players . They made 6609 runs from 136 matches. They together put 21 century partnerships and 23 fifty partnership.
