Chennai Super Kings, the 2 times tournament Champions are aiming for a good comeback to the IPL after the team suspended for 2-year's.Chennai will play their first match against Mumbai Indians in the opener on 7th April. Chennai is the tournament favorites with a balanced batting and bowling order. MS Dhoni-led team is guided by coach Stephen Flemming. They are making some new tactics for the new season. Flemming has good hopes on the team’s performance.
Chennai began their training session at Chepauk on 23rd March. The players reached city one day before the session. They explored the beauty of the city on 22nd. Later the training session was joined by assistant coaches Michael Hussey and Lakshmipathi Balaji. Both the coaches invested their first day mainly with the youngsters. Skipper Dhoni joined the session from the beginning itself, with Raina, Vijay, Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu and others. New recruit Harbhajan landed to Chepauk on the same day and later he announced his happiness in team joining through twitter. On 25th March, Chennai Super Kings launched their app named “Super App”. All the star players were present in the occasion. Chennai head coach Stephen Flemming arrived Chepauk on 26th March and he showed his presence in the practice session on 28th March. All-rounder Shane Watson announced that he will join the team on the same day through Twitter. The held one day's practice session and continued their session in the presence of head coach Stephen Flemming. On 28th March Chennai made their first practice session in open bus. They experienced a tremendous fan support during the journey. On 29th March Harbhajan,Shane Watson and Imran Tahir participated in their first practice session at Chepauk. Mark Wood is expected to join after his series against New Zealand.

Dwayne Bravo, who always loves to entertain the crowd is continuing on social media. Bravo said in a press meet that "Chennai is like a family for me". Dhoni was present in the team from their session itself, Motivating his teammates, especially the youngsters. All the youngsters and domestics were impressive in the practice sessions, hoping for a place in the first match.
