He guided Kolkata for title wins in the previous seasons, who were one of the most inconsistent team before his presence. In every season he impressed his team with some batting performances, scored 4133 runs at an average of 31.55. Delhi's strength lies in their bowling order.There are perfect compilation pacers and spinners in the team. Mohammed Shami was impressive with Delhi in their previous seasons. Rabada and Morris will add strength to bowling order. Trent Boult was impressive with New Zealand this year. There is a huge warehouse of quality spinners for Delhi. Jayant Yadav and Shahbaz Nadeem will be an advantage for Delhi. Amit Mishra who have previous experience with the team made some good attacks in the season. Gambhir led batting order is also have some good batters. Delhi has a rich top order consisting of Rishabh Pant, Collin Munro, Shreyas Iyer and the Skipper.
