Rajasthan Royals Team Review 2018

Rajasthan Is Ready For A Royal Comeback

Rajasthan Royals are back to the Indian Premier League, after a 2-year suspension. The inaugural season Champions didn't show any good impressions after that. Although they qualified for the playoffs in 2013 and 2015, they were not able to reach the finals. They played one Champions League t20 season, in which they became the runners-up. Manoj Badale owned team plays their home matches at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. The ‘Money Ball' team Rajasthan Royals used similar tactics in the previous seasons, in the auction.Instead of bidding on native star players, they bought domestic talents and invested more in foreign players.

In this season they brought 2 Big Bash heroes, Joffrey Archer and Darcy Short.Short who showed his charisma in the middle order will be an asset to the team.Another Hobert Hurricane star, Joffrey Archer is capable of contributing from bat and ball. The fast bowler was the trump card for the Hurricane's. Ben Stokes who was with Rising Pune Super Giants did some magic in bat and ball.Ben Stokes will add strength to the middle order along with experienced Stuart Binny, Sanju Samson. Jos Buttler, the England wicket keeper batsmen was impressive with Mumbai Indians last year. Ajinkya Rahane’s presence in the top order will be an added advantage for the team. He can score some good runs during the powerplay. In the bowling line up, they invested, more on the domestic players. Jaydev Unadkat is the only capped Indian pacer in the team. Dhawal Kulkarni made some decent performance in the previous seasons with Rajasthan. Dushmanta Chameera and Ben Laughlin will be the foreign pacers in the team. Shreyas Gopal, Anureet Singh, Ankit Sharma, Krishnappa Gautham are the domestic bowlers in the team. The team will be in a dilemma of picking up the right bowlers. Shane Warne's role as the mentor in the previous seasons didn't create any impressive records. Steve Smith's suspension due to ball tampering will affect their batting line up for sure. Rajasthan can perform well if the domestic bowlers and Big Bash stars showed their talent.
