Vivo Z1's successor, Z1i launched in the Chinese market on July 3. It will go live on July 7th. We can expect the Indian release in the month of August with a price tag of ₹19,600. Compared to Z1, Vivo Z1i will have a lesser price tag. It will have the Android Oreo version and will have the Funtouch OS Custom User Interface. In China, the phone will feature in 2 color variants, Black Gold and Hyun Red colour. It is rumored that Vivo will have the same color options in India also.

The device will have a dimension of 154.81*75.03*7.89 mm. A 149.3 gram weight makes the device much more lighter. As mentioned, the device currently launched in the Chinese market with Black and Red color variants. It is also speculates that, a golden version is on the way to launch in China.  The device has maintained its orthodox Z series design and the finger print scanner is placed in the back side of the device.

The device will have a taller display with the courtesy of 19:9 Aspect Ratio. The 6.26 inch IPS LCD display will give you a screen resolution of 1080*2280 pixels. Vivo Z1i will have a pixel density of 403ppi. The 83.83% Screen to Body ratio will ensure you a bezel free look.

Vivo Z1i ensure you a high class performance with the courtesy of octa-core Snapdragon 636 chipset and 4 GB RAM. Compared to its predecessor Z1, this version powered with a good performing features. With the mentioned specifications, Z1i will give you the option of easy swap between two applications. The Adreno 509 graphics card will give you a smooth multimedia , gaming options.

A huge 128 GB internal memory will favor in storing good amount of data's. We can expect a usable memory of 118 GB from the device. Along with the built in option, Z1i gives you an expandable option of 256 GB. An option of USB OTG support will be an added advantage in the storage feature.

Vivo Z1i has maintained the dual camera trend. The smartphone will be powered with a 13+2 MP primary cameras and LED Flash. In the rear camera section, Z1i and Z1 equals with the resolution. The primary camera is capable of capturing images of resolution 4128*3096 pixels. It will have Exposure compensation, ISO control settings along with Continuous Shooting, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR), Face Wake up shooting modes. A higher selfie camera of 16 MP will favor in clicking great pictures. Even Z1 is having the lesser 12 MP front camera.

The 3260 mAh Li-ion battery looks decent and will give you a normal usage of 15 hours. The battery is non-removable, which will favor you in getting a perfect look for the device.

The device will have 4 G, 3 G, 2 G network connectivity options. It will feature the Bluetooth v 5.0 and is having the basic Wi-fi,hotspot features. The GPS will be powered with A-GPS and Glonass. Security part is handled by rear placed finger print scanner and will have the basic sensors. The security is further extended with Face Wake feature. Camera will have more AI features and will have smart beauty options. AR stickers will be another notable feature from Z1i and will have dedicated game mode.

Verdict

VIVO Z1i has already launched in the Chinese market. Smartphone experts says that the device is having features worth the price tag. Cameras with AI features, Performance, Storage are the best from the price tag. Z1i hasn't made any noticeable changes in the display and design sections. Battery looks decent, but it may face competitions from Redmi range devices. Z1i will be a good buy from Vivo range smartphones. If you are satisfied with the budget, you can have a look on Z1i.
